Mannam Me · Promise

Our 90-Day Promise

The only memoir worth paying for is one your family is glad you commissioned.

Our promise

If you or your parent aren't happy — for any reason or no reason at all — within 90 days of your purchase, we refund 100% of what you paid. No questions, no friction, no follow-up survey.

What “any reason” means

Common reasons we've heard: the parent wasn't ready to talk, schedules didn't line up, the writing didn't capture them the way you hoped, family circumstances changed. None of those need to be explained.

Your recordings, your choice

If you request a refund, we delete every voice recording, transcript, and draft we've generated for your family within 7 days, and confirm in writing when it's done. If you'd prefer we keep the recordings even after a refund — some families do, the audio itself is precious — simply tell us and we'll preserve them in your private account.

For California residents

Voice recordings of personal and family history may include what California law (CCPA / CPRA) considers sensitive personal information — for example, references to health, religion, or family origin. Independent of any refund, you have the right at any time to:

  • Know what we have collected about you and your parent
  • Request deletion of that information
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Limit how sensitive personal information is used and disclosed
  • Opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of your information — although we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@mannam.me or use our online request form at mannam.me/privacy-request. We respond within 45 days (with one possible 45-day extension if more time is genuinely needed). You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

How to request a refund

Email refund@mannam.me with the email address you used at checkout. That's it.

Honest fine print

If you have already received a printed memoir book and 90 days have passed, we cannot refund the printing and shipping cost (about $80 of the order) because the physical book is in your home. Everything else remains refundable indefinitely if something fails on our end (audio loss, file corruption, etc.) — that's our quality guarantee, separate from this policy.
